TEMPOROMANDIBULAR JOINT DISORDER (TMD)
A disorder of the temporomandibular joint (TMD) is often associated with pain in a patient’s jaw area. Other common symptoms include:

• Limited jaw motion
• Locked jaw
• Headaches
• Painful jaw clicking
• Earaches
• Hearing problems
• Dizziness

Diagnosing TMD can come sometimes be difficult, and symptoms will need to be carefully evaluated by a dentist or physician.
